Bowflex Xtreme SE Home Gym

A slight improvement over the Classic Home Gym, the Bowflex Xtreme SE still falls short. While there are 65 workouts positions, a 7 year warranty, and a huge 410lb max resistance, the overall usability of this machine is rather poor. Changing resistance is difficult and there is not consistent resistance along a workouts range of motion. While it states it can do 65 possible workouts, the Bowflex Xtreme SE does about half of those workouts comfortably while the other half leave the user in difficult and sometimes dangerous positions.

Again, we’d recommend steering clearing of this Bowflex machine. If you really like the power-rod resistance system and have had good experiences with Bowflex, then this does seem like decent value for money; however, the average user will find this machine difficult to get behind.
